Nutrition. Food. Eating. Diet.

Whatever you want to call it, it is the crux of changing your body if you are looking to lose weight, gain muscle, become more energetic, be happier – the list goes on and on.

As a society we have become very disconnected from what food actually is, where it comes from, why we need it and what it does to us.

We have turned it into a form of entertainment, a friend, a way to fill a void and it should be none of those things.

We underestimate and overestimate the power of food in many different ways, by giving it magic or sometimes evil powers. This process has created unhealthy people the world over, not only physically but mentally as well.

Other than helping you reach your ideal body weight and image, it is the AnywhereBody’s aim to help you heal your relationship with food. To eat because you are hungry, to eat because you want to nourish yourself and to see food as it is and nothing more.

I want to help you stop obsessive, unhealthy behaviours, I want you to eat well but to also enjoy yourself. I don’t believe that one diet will work for all, nor do I claim to have invented any of the eating plans you will encounter here. Most of what you see here is a mixture of common sense as well as different methods that I have combined over time to help individual people in losing weight. There are aspects of different popular “diets” but this isn’t about one dogmatic way of eating – it is taking the best of everything, learning what works for your body and working with it to create the best version of you. Where possible I will credit the people who have laid claim to a particular way of eating, or a particular scientific discovery that will help you work with your body best.

First and foremost it is important to truly educate yourself about food, it’s functions and why you feel and look the way you do at the moment.

Then it is important to figure out your goal and why you want to get there and to make sure it is reasonable. The AnywhereBody is catered to otherwise healthy, regular people who want to make more out of their lives and the experiences that they have, by being and feeling more vital.

While there is nothing wrong with Fitness Model or Physique goals, there are many sites geared towards that type of training and that is not what we aim to bring.

We aim to bring calmness back to what has become a crazy world, one meal at a time.
